CBM Christian Book Review ~ The Last Train at Sunset by multi-published author Pearl Nsiah-Kumi presents to individuals the important question of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  Poignantly presenting the Gospel through a series of short articles and poems, the author sheds light to the urgency of the matter and that “Today is the Day of salvation.”  She encourages all to understand the urgency of the matter because all are appointed to die and eternity does await each individual whether you believe or don’t believe.   With much scripture and a firm biblical application, the author gives concise answers to the question of salvation, forgiveness of sins, eternity, Heaven, Hell.  Within this, she gives tools and practical application from scripture to help the believer in the walk with the Lord.  This a wonderfully encouraging read that inspires all to take hold of salvation and to not miss the last train at sunset.   For further information visit the author at Pearl Kumi. Get on Board and Stay on Board is a collection of poems, short writings and brief Bible studies based on the Gospel, giving believers and unbelievers alike the basis of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  Filled with scripture, the author teaches readers that all need the forgiveness of Jesus Christ to obtain eternal life in Heaven.   Further, the author sets forth scripture pertaining to the alternative, unbelief
and that Hell is actually a choice of the individual.  The author firmly gives understanding of salvation to the skeptic, the unbeliever and those who are complacent in their views on eternity.  The second section of the book focuses on different aspects of the Christian walk, including prayer, obedience, fellowship, witnessing, and eternity. With the final section offering a general study covering holy days, celebrations, and responsibility toward government.   A highly recommended read for Christians and unbelievers alike, this read will encourage, uplift, inspire and transform lives, giving readers the tools to live in victoriously in Christ. ~  9.0 out of 10.0 stars

Title - The Last Sunset Train at
Reviews from the prison

This book explains in a very easy to read and understand language. How you can receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. It quotes a lot of key Scriptures from the Holy Bible to further clearly the truth of what’s written.

The second half of the book tells you how to walk and grow as a believer in Christ. It uses Scriptures beautifully to walk a new believer through the foundational beliefs.

The author’s purpose is very clear. How to receive eternal life and how to grow in the faith. I loved every page of this book. The topic is controversial to anyone who refuses to believe the truth ofGod’s holy Word that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one will enter heaven except through Him.

The main thing I liked about how this book was written, was Pearl kept it simple, and used easy to understand words. Even a grade school child could pick up this book and be able to read and understand it, and maybe come to understand and accept Jesus Christ as their own Lord, God, King, and Savior.

Thank you for writing this book.

This book is written in two parts. The first part is an evangelistic work, the second part is the walk of Christianity. Clearly, the author’s purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus to unbelievers (part 1), and encourage believers (part 2) in their walk with Christ.

This is the simplest, most straight forward book I’ve ever read. Ms Pearl shares the gospel in a way anyone can understand it. She makes no apologies, is straight to the point, and very concise. Part 1 of this book had me smiling and laughing the whole way through at how easily Pearl makes the Gospel to understand! God had to be guiding her hand as she wrote this!

Part 2 was just as easy to read and understand, and very thought provoking. I was greatly encouraged and uplifted by the words and scriptures used. I recommend this book for everyone! Ms Pearl, thank you for reminding me how simple the Gospel is! ~   Loren (11-3-2014)

The main objective of this book in my opinion is to give the unenlightened saved a purpose to live their lives under. This is a very good book written for the recent people coming to God’s altars.

Yes, there is a temporary position in God’s domain for these people to fit in. and yes, this is a book written for these unenlightened people. It is written to explain to the class of people in the kingdom of God, here on earth about some things that should be known, but somehow they were forgotten to be explained.

A very good book with excellent wording and ease of understanding given to keep the unenlightened interested and working to enlighten himself or herself, to qualify themselves for God’s kingdom.

A well written book. A well thought out book. I would give it good praise for the thoughts of a new convert, as most people of that caliber do not have an example they can readily go to find out the answers for their questions. This book should be able to assist them greatly.

This book speaks the truth, the Word of God, Scriptures from the Bible. This book is pretty much for anyone, the unsaved, babes in Christ, even mature Christians.

It starts off with “the invitation” the way to receive salvation, and then there’s the “Christian walk” where a lot can be learned, especially if you search the Scriptures she puts in the book, and there are many.

As I read, I came across a lot of Scriptures that I forget to make active in my life. It would be a great devotional to read daily to remember where you stand if you can’t read the Bible every day. There are certain sections I would like to read and remind myself on how I should behave on a daily basis, because at times I can let it slide based on my emotions, or the day I am having, or some people in certain situations.
